About JenEhr

F, or more than 30 years Farmers Paul and Kay ran JenEhr Family Farm on 110 acres prairie farmland in northern Dane County.  Three years ago, we sold all the equipment and rented out the farm - EXCEPT  for the one acre of blueberries.  So in July, you'll find Paul and Kay, along with a host of dedicated farm staff out in the blueberry patch every morning picking blueberries.  Some of us are listening to the birds while picking, others have headphones with music, lectures and audio books pumped into our ears while picking. 

On Saturdays, for the month of July, we bring those soooo delicious blueberries to farmers markets in Madison:

     The Dane County Farmers Market on the Capitol Square - 7am- Noon

     The Westside Community Farmers Market, 7am - Noon

And the name - well that's a combination of Jensen (Kay's last name) and Ehrhardt (Farmer Paul's last name), a name that recognizes the contributions each of us makes to JenEhr Family Farm.
